Job summary

R & R Window Contractors, Inc. in Easthampton, Massachusetts, is seeking a motivated Facade & Panel Project Engineer / Manager to lead quality, schedule, budget, and safety goals on assigned facade and panel projects.

You will coordinate with drafting, production, field operations, contracts, and accounting, while maintaining strong communication with owners and subcontractors. Candidates should have 5+ years of commercial construction experience, with knowledge of facade systems,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience preferred.
• Experience with facade systems, architectural metal panels, rainscreen systems, cladding systems, detailing, drafting, or panel engineering is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Review project turnover documents from estimating and discuss project scope with the estimator.
• Review facade and panel quantities, layouts, and system details for conformance with drawings and requirements.
• Coordinate project engineering and system design requirements with the design team.
• Supervise drafting and shop drawing preparation.
• Maintain communications with general contractors, architects, owners, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate material takeoffs, procurement, and schedules.
• Manage project costs and track schedules, change orders, and documentation.
• Provide billing information to accounting and ensure projects stay within budget.
