Structural Engineering PLLC in the NYC area seeks a Building Facade Inspector to join the growing team. You will perform exterior façade inspections, document conditions, and support DOB/FISP compliance, reporting, and collaboration with engineers, architects, contractors, and property managers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of façade inspection experience, knowledge of masonry, concrete, steel, waterproofing, strong report-writing skills, and the ability to work safely at heights on active

Formación

• 5+ years of façade inspection experience.
• Knowledge of NYC building façades, masonry, concrete, steel, and waterproofing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with NYC DOB/FISP regulations and inspection procedures.
• Willingness to travel throughout the NYC area.

Responsabilidades

• Perform visual inspections of building façades, parapets, balconies, fire escapes and related exterior elements.
• Identify and document structural distress, deterioration, unsafe conditions, and maintenance needs.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, field notes, photographs, and repair recommendations.
• Assist with FISP filings and DOB documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and property managers.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols.
• Conduct site visits and supervise access setups (scaffolds, lifts, rope access).
