Job summary

Digital Building Components in Dallas is seeking an experienced Estimator to review bids on complex projects and manage all cost elements from plans to supplier pricing. You will develop proposals for load-bearing steel structures, light-gauge prefabricated panels, and light MEP systems, and guide preconstruction services.

This role requires collaboration, strong communication and a relevant degree, plus 5+ years in drywall estimating.

Qualifications

• Must review plans and specifications and translate into cost elements.
• Propose alternate solutions for scoping and cost of architectural finishes, framing, and MEP.
• Provide design/preconstruction phase services.

Responsibilities

• Provide all cost elements relative to estimating and planning for a given project.
• Develop proposals for load-bearing steel structures and related systems.
• Represent the estimator to clients and trade partners.
