Job summary

Digital Building Components, part of the DPR Family of Companies, seeks an Estimator to review and execute bids on complex projects. The role covers all estimating and bid elements from plans to contractor negotiations, focusing on load-bearing steel structures, light-gauge panels, and light MEP systems.

Responsibilities include cost-element analysis, proposing alternatives, and providing preconstruction design services while representing the company to clients and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, structural architecture, or construction management.
• 10+ years of related estimating experience.
• 5+ years in drywall estimating (load-bearing structures experience highly preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide all cost elements relative to estimating and planning for a given project.
• Be able to propose alternate solutions relating to the scoping and cost of a project architectural finishes, cold-formed metal framing and/or light MEP systems.
• Provide all design/preconstruction phase services.
