Job description

Cheetah Chassis Corp located in Berwick is currently accepting applications for qualified FABRICATORS capable and eager to work safely in our fast-paced manufacturing operation.

Pay:

Cheetah has some of the best pay rates in the area! We provide our Fabricators a starting rate of$19.00 - $20.75/hr.depending on previous experience and skill.

Job Summary:

Sets up and operate various fabrication equipment such as CNC lathes, plasma, brake press and shears according to instructions, specifications, and standard operating procedures.

Follow all established safety policies and procedures

Uses hand tools, hoists, squares, rules, micrometers to assemble, install, align, and adjust machines.

Uses blueprints, work orders, and other dimensional specifications to ensure the proper setup and operation are followed.

Places and secures workpieces in proper machine table, holding device, or other appropriate surface.

Prepares fixtures and feeding devices, starts machine, and engages feed.

Observes each machine to verify quality performance.

Verifies measuring instruments such as gauges, calipers, and micrometers are in proper working order.

Sets and adjusts necessary controls to regulate machines.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None. The position reports to the Materials Team Lead

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must be able to lift up to 50-pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

• This is a full-time position.
• Hours of work for day shift are Monday through Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
• Overtime may be required.
