Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies in Oklahoma City is seeking a skilled Shop Fabricator/Welder to repair equipment and fabricate structural and piping components to exact specifications. You will read blueprints and isometric drawings, set up welding equipment, and work with a team to meet production schedules.

Candidates should have 3–5 years welding experience, proficiency in Stick, MIG, and TIG, and the ability to obtain AWS D1.1 certification; 6G qualification preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of welding and fabrication experience.
• Proficiency in Stick, MIG, and TIG welding.
• Strong structural and pipe fabrication skills.
• Experience with pipe fitting, layout, and component fit-up.
• Ability to obtain AWS D1.1 certification upon hire; 6G welding qualification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and isometric drawings accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform Stick, MIG, and TIG welding to fabricate structural components and piping.
• Interpret shop sketches, blueprints, and isometric drawings.
• Layout and fabricate components with minimal supervision.
• Set up and operate welding equipment and cutting tools.
• Inspect finished work for accuracy and conformance to drawings.
