American StaffCorp in Oklahoma seeks a structural fitter welder to join our fabrication team. You will lay out, fit, and weld heavy steel components using MIG, FCAW, or stick welding to form high‑quality assemblies.

Candidates should have 2–5 years of experience, strong blueprint reading, math skills, and the ability to pass plate weld tests; physical stamina to lift up to 70 lbs; safety-minded with PPE.

• 2–5 years of verifiable fitting and welding experience in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Strong blueprint reading and math aptitude.
• Proficiency with shop tools and cranes.
• Ability to pass standard plate weld tests (e.g., Open Root 3G).

• Layout and Fit-Up: Read blueprints/drawings to measure, align, and tack heavy steel parts.
• Welding Operations: Perform MIG, Flux Core, or stick welding to finalize assemblies.
• Material Preparation: Bevel, grind, clean, and shape metal components with hand tools and torches.
• Quality Inspection: Verify dimensions using tape measures, squares, and weld gauges.
• Safety and Maintenance: Wear PPE, keep area clean, and maintain tools and equipment.
