M. J. Electric, LLC. is seeking a Fabricator/Welder at our Niagara, WI facility. The role focuses on fabricating and welding tooling and machinery fixes for our MJ Drilling crews, ensuring parts meet drawings, dimensions, and quality standards.

You will inspect materials, verify proper equipment and safety practices, and uphold shop procedures while maintaining a strong commitment to quality workmanship and safety on every project.

Qualifications

• Ability to see a fabrication project through from start to finish.
• Proficiency interpreting blueprints and shop math.
• Proficiency using precision measuring tools.
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Check fabrication and welding against drawings and specifications.
• Verify material used matches product requirements.
• Inspect in-coming materials for quality per customer standards.
• Inspect welding machines and equipment for accuracy.
• Ensure completed products meet specifications and quality expectations.
• Follow shop floor control procedures and safety policies.
• Adhere to lock-out/tag-out procedures before servicing equipment.
