Job summary

Donaldson Company in Greeneville, TN seeks an experienced Fabricator Assembler specializing in spot welding and liner assembly. The role requires reading blueprints, setting up welders, and maintaining production flow on an assembly line with ongoing quality checks.

You will work with fixed fixtures, jigs and rollers, performing preventative maintenance and accurate documentation while supporting CI initiatives and overtime as needed. Candidates must meet safety and DOT-related guidelines.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and routings and perform basic math.
• Interact constructively with team members on the production line.
• Maintain regular attendance and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Comply with safety policies and report abnormalities to supervision.
• Able to handle lifting of liners and operate welding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Complies with safety and environmental policies and wears PPE as required.
• Sets-up and operates spot welders and H-clips for steel without line stoppages.
• Forms liners within quality standards per blueprints.
• Fits and positions weldments using fixtures, jigs and rollers.
• Operates and understands functions of welder, H-clip machine, and roller table.
• Communicates with line teammates to maintain production rate.
• Completes paperwork like scrap sheets and safety checks timely.
• Performs preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Uses hand tools and instructions to complete daily tasks.
• Maintains 6S in work area and supports continuous improvement.
• Keeps routed standards and tracks change over time and scrap.
• Works overtime when required and supports other departments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
