Position: Fabricator Welder for Structural Steel

Job Description: As a fabricator welder, you will be responsible for the skilled fabrication and welding of structural steel components. You will work on various projects, interpreting shop drawings, and utilizing your expertise to produce high-quality welds and assemblies. The ideal candidate will be proficient in 3G FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret shop drawings and blueprints to fabricate and weld structural steel components.
• Perform Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) in the 3G position with precision and skill.
• Operate fabrication equipment, such as saws, shears, and presses, ensuring safe and efficient practices.
• Conduct quality checks on completed work to meet industry standards and project specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion and adherence to project deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a fabricator welder with a focus on structural steel (3-5 years minimum).
• Proficiency in Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) and must have the ability to pass the 3G FCAW certification.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Demonstrated knowledge of welding equipment, tools, and techniques.
