The Fabricator/Welder will use various techniques to cut, shape, and assemble raw steel into pre-defined structures according to blueprints. The candidate must be proficient in interpreting shop drawings for the construction of all types of structures. Responsibilities include utilizing tools such as cutting torches, welding machines, and other metalworking equipment to create the necessary components and assemble them into the final structure.

Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical skills and above-average knowledge of welding techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and with team members.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Lift or carry at least 50 lbs.

Preferred but not required: Knowledge of AISC quality standards, safety certifications, and forklift certifications.
