Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Welder/Fabricator in Laurens, SC. The role requires MIG and Flux Core welding, blueprint reading, and fabrication of steel components. You will assemble parts and operate cranes and forklifts in a full-time manufacturing setting.

Applicants should be able to read drawings, measure materials, and work in a shop with overhead crane equipment. A weld test is required to demonstrate bevels and horizontal welding proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum welding experience with MIG and Flux Core.
• Ability to read blueprints and assemble components.
• Experience with steel fabrication and assembly.
• Capable of operating cranes and forklifts safely.

Welder/Fabricator

Location: Laurens, SC

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join a growing manufacturing team. This full-time position involves MIG and Flux Core welding, fabrication, blueprint reading, and assembling steel components. Pay ranges from $20.00-$25.00/hour based on experience.

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG and Flux Core welding on carbon steel components
• Read blueprints and drawings to assemble parts
• Gather materials and fabricate components
• Operate overhead cranes and sit-down forklifts
• Use tape measures, calipers, drills, and grinders
• Work in compact spaces while handling large structural components
• Train hands-on with the Plant Manager
