Job summary

IPEX in Preston, Idaho is seeking a Fabricator for a swing shift (Mon-Thu, 3:30 PM–2:00 AM) to join our manufacturing team. You will set up, operate and troubleshoot fabricating machines while focusing on safety, quality and continuous improvement.

No extensive prior experience required as training is provided; basic math, detail orientation and teamwork fit well. The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs, handling pipes, and keeping a clean work area.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred (training provided)
• Basic math knowledge
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Working knowledge of health & safety practices helpful
• Ability to understand various types and sizes of pipes after training

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot fabricating machines (training provided)
• Prepare molds and machines for all lines
• Lift and move large, heavy diameter saws
• Identify material problems and ensure compliance with quality standards
• Accurately set process parameters
• Remove scrap materials and maintain orderly storage
• Perform housekeeping around machines and work areas
• Inspect and report unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Troubleshoot problems and determine appropriate solutions
• Support Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) efforts
• Perform other tasks as needed
