Job summary

IPEX, located in Kingman, AZ, is seeking a Line Operator to run extrusion equipment for fittings production. You will focus on safety, quality, and output, following standard procedures and cooperating with shifts 7am–7pm and 7pm–7am.

Responsibilities include operating machinery, performing inspections, adjusting process parameters, and maintaining documentation. The role requires basic tool use and forklift operation, with a background check and drug screen expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with high school education or equivalent.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and operate a forklift.
• Candidate must complete a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion machines and related equipment for fittings production.
• Maintain safe work environment through adherence to policies and housekeeping.
• Perform inspection tasks using basic measurement tools (PI table, micrometer, ovality gauges).
• Support quality processes including skin testing and impact testing.
• Investigate any non-conforming product and assist in resolutions.
• Adjust extrusion process settings (wall thickness, temperatures, diameter) to meet specs.
• Maintain line maintenance and cleanliness, including vents.

Job Summary

Would you like to apply your skills in an innovative production facility? If so, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Line Operator! This position will be based out of our Extrusion plant located in Kingman, AZ. Reporting to Shift Supervisor, the successful candidate will operate extrusion machines and related equipment for the purposes of fittings production. These activities are to be conducted while ensuring and maximizing safety, product quality, production output, housekeeping, and cost control to achieve plant goals. We have rotating day shifts from 7am-7pm and rotating night shifts from 7pm-7am available.

Job Responsibilities

• Safety: maintain a safe work environment through training, adherence to policies and housekeeping.

• Inspection activities that include using a PI table, micrometer and ovality gauges.

• Efficiency in performing the inspection and quality process including skin testing and impact testing.

• Detection and assisting in the resolutions pertaining to the quality of the product.

• Investigating any product deemed non-conforming.

• Adjust the extrusion process including but not limited to, wall thickness, barrel and die temperatures, and diameter adjustments.

• Maintain maintenance on the line, including but not limited to, the cleaning of vents.

• Collaborate and assist with production material trials and new products.

• Monitor and maintain output and run conditions to specified standards.

• Complete accurate documentation and quality requirements.

• Other duties as delegated.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age plus completion of high school education or equivalent.

• Must have the ability to use basic hand tools and operate a forklift.

• Successful candidate must complete a background check and drug screening

Working Conditions

• Requires a high degree of mobility and involves considerable routine walking, standing for long periods, reaching, twisting, bending, climbing, and lifting to 50-75 lbs.

• Fast-paced environment where a considerable amount of sensory attention is required.

Pay
