Job summary

IPEX is seeking a qualified candidate for an entry-level manufacturing role on 1st shift in our Washington facility. The worker will read and follow detailed instructions, operate basic manufacturing tools and equipment, and contribute to a safe, quality-driven environment.

Responsibilities include safely moving parts with pallet jacks, using a tape measure, and assisting with various duties as needed to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb individually and 100 lb with a team lift.
• Able to move tooling up to 50 lb by manual effort.
• Will read and follow work instructions and procedures.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Good hand-eye coordination.

• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and situations as they arise, notifying appropriate staff of problems beyond scope of normality

• Operate pallet jacks and carts to move parts between operations

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb individually and 100 lb with a team lift on a consistent basis
• Has the ability to move tooling by pushing, pulling, or bending, up to 50 lb
• Using hands to tighten bolts and manipulate parts of various sizes
• Walking to retrieve and put away mandrels and metal plates weighing up to 50 lb
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Good hand eye coordination

Work Schedule

1st shift: Monday – Friday 6am-2:30pm Overtime and weekend hours as needed
