Job summary

GHX Industrial, LLC, a SunSource company, is a growing distributor and fabricator of industrial gaskets and hoses with nationwide offices. A Fabricator will assist in all shop areas including gasket, hose, and mechanical seal work, using cutters, presses, and related tools to cut, assemble, and test components.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of industrial shop experience, basic math, a tape measure, and the ability to operate a forklift after certification.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent (GED) required.
• 1 year industrial shop experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Must be able to use a tape measure and understand basic math.

Responsibilities

• Participate in counting inventory for cycle counts and maintain stock; keep areas organized.
• Operate gasket, hose, and component fabrication tools with attention to lean and safety.
• Assist in gasket and hose fabrication, mechanical seals, and packaging shipments as needed.
• Assist shipping to ship, pack, receive items and build crates.
• Maintain clean shop areas and follow safety regulations.
