Job summary

GHX Industrial, a SunSource company, is hiring for an entry-level role in Jacksonville, FL. You will participate in counting inventory for cycle counts, maintain stock, and help with lean activities and safety compliance.

The role involves operating basic shop equipment, assisting in hose and gasket areas, and supporting shipping/receiving tasks. A high school diploma and basic math skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year industrial shop experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Must be able to use a tape measure and understand basic math.

Responsibilities

• Participate in counting inventory for cycle counts and maintain stock; tag, stack, sort, and keep organized.
• Participate in lean activity and safety regulations.
• Suggest improvements and work on continuous improvement projects for lean, quality and safety.
• Operate soft gasket press, circle cutter, allpax cutter, and shears to cut soft gaskets.
• Assist hose area with basic duties such as hose banding and crimping, and test hoses.
