Job summary

Wastequip may be seeking a Fabricator in Salisbury, NC to support steel manufacturing operations. The role involves fabricating metal parts, operating a press brake or shear, reading blueprints, and verifying dimensions.

It requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment and pass safety tests. The job offers full-time hours with robust benefits including health insurance, 401K, paid vacation and sick time, and other company-sponsored programs.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating a Press Brake and/or Shear.
• Set up experience is a plus.
• Ability to read blue prints and measuring tape.
• Basic math and problem solving skills.
• Experience in a fast paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate steel and other metal parts per work orders and blueprints.
• Operate a Press Brake and/or Shear and adjust as needed.
• Read cutting layouts, position guides, and set length and angle.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensions and quality.
• Maintain safe operation and housekeeping in the workstation.
