Job summary

Plascore, a global manufacturer, is hiring a Fabricator for its Zeeland, MI facility on the 1st shift (6:30a–2:30p, Mon–Fri). You will perform drilling, routing, assembly, and finish work on components and assemblies, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Perform fabricating/finish work on components and assemblies, including routing, drilling, installing inserts, and fasteners.
• Clean product to be packaged and load skids, crate finished goods.
• Fill out shipment forms and attach shipping labels.
• Enter data into the electronic data system and complete related paperwork.
• Read work orders, review drawings, and follow instructions; assist other departments as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and seek process improvements.

Currently there is an opening for a Fabricator in our Panels division on 1st shift (6:30a - 2:30p. Monday - Friday)

Panels Fabricator: Starting at $18.90 per hour on 1st Shift!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform fabricating/finish work on components, assemblies, and product including routing, drilling, installing inserts, and installing fasteners.
• Clean product to be packaged.
• Load skids and protect product.
• Crate finished goods.
• Fill out shipment info forms.
• Fill out and attach shipping labels.
• Completes necessary paperwork and enters data into the electronic data system.
• Fill out NCMR's.
• Assist other departments as necessary.
• Read work orders, review drawings, follow instructions.
• Frequently asks production area if they need help.
• Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality, and Delivery.
• Participate in improving our product, processes, equipment, and methods.
• Handle internal and external questions in a prompt professional manner.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Continually looks for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.
• Performs all reasonably related duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
