Job summary

PlayCore in Gunnison, Colorado, is seeking skilled Project Fabricators to join our fabrication team. The role focuses on constructing components for standard and custom products using steel and other materials, interpreting drawings, and maintaining safety and quality.

This position favors team orientation and a positive attitude in a dynamic shop environment. Applicants should have welding certification, 5+ years in construction trades, and 2+ years in steel fabrication, with forklift

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction trades.
• Minimum 2 years of steel fabrication experience.
• Structural welding certification required.
• Prior Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Forklift license or ability to pass forklift test.

Summary

We are seeking skilled Project Fabricators to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction trades, structural welding, and steel fabrication. This position involves the fabrication of components for both standard and custom products using steel and various other materials. Candidates must be team-oriented and bring a positive attitude to the job sit

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Fabricate components for standard and custom products using steel and other materials
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Operate fabrication machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Safety: Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations by all employees
• Quality: Assure all decks are checked and identified properly
• Productivity: Maintain utilization specified by supervisor and/or lead
• Coordinates: Communicate with other operators on any issues or shortages to supervisor or lead
• Team player and willing to work closely with others
• Dexterity: Employee would work with their hands, and need to be able to lift or hold heavy items
• Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor.

Education And/or Experience

• Prior Manufacturing experience is a plus
