Summary
ID Sculpture is seeking Production Assistants to support our creative and fabrication teams in producing custom climbing boulders, playground sculptures, and public art installations. Responsibilities
- Sculpt and shape over rebar and lath substructures to create detailed and artistic play sculptures according to project specifications and designs.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and other team members to ensure the artistic vision and structural integrity of the sculptures.
- Utilize various sculpting tools and techniques to achieve desired textures, shapes, and finishes.
- Inspect and refine sculpted surfaces to ensure quality and adherence to project requirements.
- Assist in the preparation and setup of materials, including rebar, lath, and GFRC mixtures.
- Assist in other general labor tasks as needed to support facility operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored and maintained.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to creative brainstorming sessions.
- Maintain accurate records of sculpting activities, including time, materials used, and project progress.
- Provide input and feedback on sculpting techniques and improvements to enhance the quality and efficiency of the sculpting process.
- Participate in creating molds for concrete products.
- Promote the company’s mission and values‑based culture through providing an excellent quality product.
- Manage all decks going to outside storage.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Assure all decks are checked and identified properly.
- Maintain productivity defined by supervisor or lead.
- Communicate with other operators on any issues or shortages to supervisor or lead.
- Act as a team player and be willing to work closely with others.
- Lift or hold heavy items as required.
- Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor.

Education & Experience
Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.

- Forklift license or must be able to pass a forklift test to be certified by PlayCore.

Physical Demands
Frequently walk and sit; use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or listen. Occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds (50 pounds is the maximum). Close vision is required and the ability to adjust focus.
