Apache Mills, Inc. in Calhoun, GA seeks a Fabricator I to support the Maintenance Team by fabricating, repairing, or modifying metal components during the 12-hour swing shift. The role emphasizes quality work within safety standards on the day and swing shifts in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, measuring and fabricating parts, welding as needed, inspecting results, and maintaining equipment and records. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication specs.
• Measure, mark, cut, drill, punch, bend, form and assemble metal parts.
• Operate fabrication equipment including shears, plasma cutters, presses, grinders, and drills.
• Perform MIG, TIG, or STICK welding when required.
• Inspect finished work for accuracy and weld quality.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.

Responsabilités

• Support maintenance by fabricating and modifying components during shifts.
• Ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances.
• Record work orders and production data accurately.
• Maintain clean, organized workspace and tools.
• Follow lockout/tagout and PPE procedures.
• Work overtime or weekends as needed.
