Job summary

Advanced Conversion Technology (ACT) is seeking mechanically minded individuals to join our Metal Shop as a Metal Fabricator/Finisher in Middletown, PA. We will train candidates with interest in learning this trade and follow quality and safety procedures to fabricate components per drawings and tolerance specs, including soldering and finishing tasks.

The role operates Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, and offers ESOP ownership, growth opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, decimals and fractions.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Good computer skills, including the ability to accurately enter, transact and retrieve simple data.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

ACT is searching for mechanically minded individuals to join our Metal Shop team in aMetal Fabricator/Finisher position. While previous experience is a plus, we will train someone who is interested in learning this trade.

This position will follow quality requirements and safety procedures to fabricate components per drawing dimensions and tolerance specifications as well as solder components and assemblies. The position will also finish machined and fabricated components and apply final finishes to components per print and drawing specifications.

Hours are 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Must Have Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, decimals and fractions
• Mechanical aptitude
• Good computer skills, including the ability to accurately enter, transact and retrieve simple data

Must be able to lift and move objects up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds on occasion. Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time. Must be comfortable working with and around chemicals and odors.
