Job summary

Advanced Conversion Technology (ACT) is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee manufacturing staff and coordinate daily operations in Middletown, PA. You will plan work schedules, assign tasks, and provide training to meet quality and delivery targets while fostering collaboration with sales, engineering, quality and manufacturing teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, process improvement, and strong communication, with a focus on Lean/Six Sigma techniques and ERP/MRP systems

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical discipline or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years' experience in manufacturing operations including supervisory experience.

Job Summary

ACT is seeking aProduction Supervisor focused on supervising and coordinating the activities of staff engaged in manufacturing operations. This position plans and executes work schedules, job assignments and training activities to meet our customer's quality and delivery expectations. We have a strong mentorship program and believe strongly in collaboration between sales, engineering, quality and manufacturing.

Must Have Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical discipline or Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or a combination of equivalent experience and education.
• 5+ years' experience in manufacturing operations including experience in a supervisory/leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead a team in the execution of manufacturing operations to meet revenue and delivery goals.
• High customer focus with regard to delivering a quality product in a timely manner.
• Proven knowledge of how to implement process controls in production in order to improve efficiency and minimize waste (Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, TPS, 6S, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer skills including ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office suite.
• Proven ability to strategize, communicate and lead improvement initiatives to gain buy-in at all levels and drive execution of plan.
• Ability to take a hands-on approach to resolving manufacturing issues.
• Ability to read and write procedures, work instruction and other forms of technical documentation.
