Job summary

Threat Tec, LLC, a rapidly growing Veteran-Owned Business, is seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our production team at the Mission Engineering Center in Hampton, VA. The ideal candidate will operate CNC Press Brakes, plasma cutters, and weld with MIG, TIG, and Stick to build components to exact specifications for national defense applications.

With 3–5 years of fabrication experience, you will read blueprints, work safely under tight deadlines, and collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of fabrication experience.
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to execute under tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated team player with a proactive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Project Ownership: Manage fabrication projects from blueprint to final product, ensuring components are built to specification and delivered on time.
• Technical Execution: Operate CNC Press Brakes, CNC pipe and tubing benders, plasma cutters, and perform welding with MIG, TIG, and Stick.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections to ensure all work meets company standards and customer specifications.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with teammates to meet production goals and contribute to a high-performing team environment.
• Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace that complies with OSHA and company safety standards.
