Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic welding, Mig (GMAW) welding required.

• Proficient in reading tape measures (standard and metric).

Responsibilities

• Manufacture parts according to blueprints using basic welding symbols.
• Read job travelers and interpret blueprints.
• Complete production records using a computer format to maintain cost, efficiencies, inventory, and integrity.
• Ensure cleanliness of the press, workstation, and immediate area by following good housekeeping practices.

Job Goal

A fabricator is responsible for fabricating, positioning, aligning, and fitting parts of structural metal products.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manufacturing parts according to blueprints using basic welding symbols.
• Read job travelers and interpret blueprints.
• Complete production records using a computer format to maintain cost, efficiencies, inventory, and integrity.
• Ensure proper cleanliness of the press, workstation, and immediate press area by following good housekeeping practices.

Position Type & Expected Hours Of Work
