Job summary

Valley Rubber is seeking a Fabricator to join our manufacturing team in Alabama. You will fabricate, position, align and fit parts of structural metal products, reading blueprints and welding symbols to produce precise components.

You will also read job travelers, document production records, and maintain a clean work area while meeting overtime and weekend expectations as needed, launching a reliable career with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic welding, Mig (GMAW) Welding required.
• Ability to follow directions and get along well with others.
• Outstanding punctuality and attendance required.
• Ability to read and understand a tape measure, standard and metric required.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture parts according to blueprints using basic welding symbols.
• Read job travelers and interpret blueprints.
• Complete production records using a computer format to maintain cost, efficiencies, inventory, and integrity.
• Ensure proper cleanliness of the press, workstation, and immediate press area by following good housekeeping practices.

A fabricator is responsible for fabricating, positioning, aligning, and fitting parts of structural metal products.

• Manufacturing parts according to blueprints using basic welding symbols.
