Job summary

Remedy Intelligent Staffing is seeking a 3rd Shift Welder / Fabricator in Carlisle to join a skilled trades team. The role focuses on heavy MIG and stick welding, reading blueprints, and fabricating steel structures for outdoor conditions.

You'll work 6:00pm–6:00am Monday through Thursday, with potential training on days. Pay ranges from $23.00 to $26.00 per hour DOE, plus shift differential, and requires accurate workmanship and ability to operate welding equipment in varied weather.

Qualifications

• Heavy MIG welding experience; 2-year trade school preferred or equivalent (4 years).
• Stick and wire welding experience.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Position may involve outdoor work in all weather, including extreme heat or cold.

Responsibilities

• Prep, fit, cut, drill and weld structural steel assemblies.
• Read specifications or blueprints to determine materials and sizes.
• Unload and position prefabricated steel units for hoisting.
• Fabricate metal parts according to blueprints or supervisor instructions.
• Measure, cut and bend rebar.
• Examine work pieces and ensure conformance with specifications.

3rd Shift Welder / Fabricator

Our client is looking for an individual with welding, construction or concrete experience.The ideal candidate will be looking for a full-time opportunity and come from a skilled trade with a proven track on job longevity.Located in Carlisle.

Pay:$23.00-$26.00/ hour (DOE) + Shift Differential
Hours: 6:00pm-6:00am (Mon – Thurs) *Requires Ability to train on days 2-4 weeks

Duties:

• Prep, fit, cut, drill and weld various structural steel assemblies.
• Monitor inventory and submit orders as needed, review and establish daily plans.
• Read specifications or blueprints to determine the locations, quantities, or sizes of materials required
• Unload and position prefabricated steel units for hoisting
• Connect columns, beams, and girders with bolts, following blueprints and instructions from supervisors
• Fasten structural steel members to hoist cables, using chains, cables, or rope
• Cut, bend, or weld steel pieces, using metal shears, torches, or welding equipment
• Fabricate metal parts, such as steel frames, columns, beams, or girders, according to blueprints or instructions from supervisors.
• Measure, cut and bend rebar
• Examine work pieces and defects and measure work pieces to ensure conformance with specifications
