Job summary

SPI in Solon, OH is seeking a Fabricator to operate band saws and various saws to fabricate fiberglass and other insulation materials. You will measure, cut, and assemble components safely in a fast-paced environment, maintaining quality and housekeeping while meeting daily production targets.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license if driving for the company, and the ability to be medically certified to wear a respirator. Forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
• Experience/training in manufacturing/fabrication/warehouse environment preferred.
• Able to be medically certified to wear respirator, if required.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate band saw and other saws to fabricate fiberglass, mineral wool, perlite and other insulation materials.
• Accurately measure material for efficiency.
• Maintain quality and housekeeping.
• Ensure production levels are met daily.
• Comply with all safety requirements.
• Perform other fabrication duties as assigned by supervisor.
