Job summary

QXO is seeking a Fabricator to operate band saws and other equipment to fabricate fiberglass, mineral wool, and other insulation materials. You will join a safety‑driven team focused on quality and efficiency, measuring materials and maintaining clean work areas.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to obtain a respirator certification if needed, and a valid driver’s license for company duties. Local travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
• Experience/training in manufacturing/fabrication/warehouse environment (preferred).
• Medically able to wear respirator (if required).
• Basic computer skills (preferred).
• Forklift certified.
• Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Job Description

As a Fabricator, you will operate a band saw, and other types of saws, to custom fabricate fiberglass, mineral wool, perlite, and many other types of specialized insulation.

Your Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate appropriate equipment.
• Accurately measure material for efficiency.
• Maintain quality and housekeeping.
• Ensure production levels are meet daily.
• Comply with all safety requirements.
• Perform other fabrication duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.

Your Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.

Physical Requirements

Compensation

Compensation Range $13.00 - $30.00. To comply with Pay Transparency laws, employers must disclose an annual salary range. Actual offers depend on factors such as location, experience, skills, and market data. This position may also offer variable compensation.
