Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries is seeking a swing shift fabricator in Shelton, Washington, to provide fabrication support and perform precision welding and layout work. The role requires reading blueprints, achieving quality welds, and may involve travel to other divisions.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ welding and fabricating experience or educational equivalent preferred.
• Experience with Mig, Arc, Dual Shield, cutting torch, metal cutting band saw, air arc, and fabrication tools.
• Demonstrated ability to focus on current work while planning the next stages of work.

Responsibilities

• Provide fabrication support for all our manufacturing facilities throughout Washington
• Apply welding fabrication techniques to achieve visually and structurally sufficient welds
• Perform precision layout work and accurately read and interpret blueprints/plans, sketches, and verbal instructions
• Ensure product and process quality through self-inspection of finished products
• Possibility to work at other divisions, requiring travel
• Overtime sometimes expected during busy production times

Currently, we are seeking a qualified swing shift fabricator to work collaboratively with our fabrication shop in Shelton, Washington.
