Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries in Eugene, Oregon, is seeking a swing-shift Fabricator to support our fabrication shop. You will apply welding techniques to achieve visually and structurally sound welds and perform precision layout by reading blueprints and verbal instructions.

Qualifications

• 2 years welding experience or educational equivalent preferred.
• Experience with Mig, Arc, Dual Shield, cutting torch, and metal cutting band saw.
• Demonstrated ability to focus on current work while planning the next stages of work.

Responsibilities

• Provide fabrication support for our manufacturing facilities.
• Apply welding techniques to achieve visually and structurally sufficient welds.
• Perform precision layout work and read/interpret blueprints, plans, sketches, and verbal instructions.
• Ensure product and process quality through self-inspection of finished products.
• Possibility to work at other divisions, requiring travel.
• Overtime can be expected during busy production times.

Currently, we are seeking a qualified swing shift Fabricator to work collaboratively with our fabrication shop in Eugene, Oregon, with great opportunities for advancement.
