Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries, Medford, Wisconsin, is hiring Specialty Fabricators to join our Windows division. You will set up and operate moulders, perform painting duties, and help maintain coating equipment.

We offer training from within, a $1,500 hiring bonus, health benefits, retirement plan with company match, paid vacations and holidays. Applicants must be 18+ and able to read drawings and use tape measures to check tolerances.

Qualifications

• Experience operating moulders and related equipment.
• Familiarity with various wood species and aluminum profiles.
• Ability to read tape measures and calipers and interpret drawings.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate moulders and related machines for production.
• Perform painting duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Clean and maintain powder coating equipment as appropriate.
• Maintain proper recordkeeping and quality control.
• Test and maintain proper chemical levels for pretreatment.
• Inventory nozzles and all parts.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.

Currently, our Windows division in Medford, Wisconsin, a growing, major window and door manufacturer with manufacturing facilities located in Alabama, California, and Wisconsin, is seeking qualified Specialty Fabricators to work collaboratively with our division.

About the Position

• Setup and operate moulders and other machines as required for production
• Perform painting duties in a safe and efficient manner

• We look for applicants with recent, related work history and verifiable references
• Familiarity with various species of wood and aluminum profiles
• Ability to read tape measure and caliper as well as drawings to understand where coverage is required
• All applicants must be at least age 18
