Job summary

Service Partners is seeking a Fabricator to operate band saws and related equipment to fabricate fiberglass, mineral wool, and other insulation materials in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. You should be a reliable team player who performs duties safely and accurately.

This is a safety-sensitive role with local travel (<10%). Minimum age 18, valid driver's license if driving for the company, and forklift certification are preferred. Benefits include medical, dental, 401(k), PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age and eligible to work in the US.
• Experience and/or training in a fabrication/manufacturing environment.
• Able to be medically certified to wear a respirator if required.
• Forklift certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate band saws and other equipment.
• Accurately measure material for production efficiency.
• Maintain quality and housekeeping standards.
• Meet daily production targets and comply with safety requirements.
• Perform other fabrication duties as assigned by supervisor.

Your Responsibilities

As a Fabricator, you will operate a band saw, and other types of saws, to custom fabricate fiberglass, mineral wool, perlite, and many other types of specialized insulation. If you are a reliable team player with a desire to work safely in a fast-paced environment,

• Safely and efficiently operate appropriate equipment.


• Accurately measure material for efficiency.


• Maintain quality and housekeeping.


• Ensure production levels are meet daily.


• Comply with all safety requirements.


• Perform other fabrication duties as assigned by supervisor.


• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.

Your Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.


• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.


• Experience and/or training in a manufacturing/fabrication/warehouse environment (preferred).


• Able to be medically certified to wear respirator (if required).


• Basic computer skills (preferred).


• Forklift certified.

Education

• High school diploma or GED required.

Physical Requirements

This role requires prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Role also requires good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength. The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on the specific job duties.

Compensation Range

$13.00 - $30.00
