Job summary

Custom Staffing is partnering with a local manufacturing company to add a Fabricator in Marion, OH. This temp-to-hire opportunity offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with overtime as needed. Starting pay is $24+ per hour, based on experience, with weekly pay and benefits available.

Direct Hire opportunity after conversion. Role involves interpreting drawings, fabricating per specs, maintaining tools, and inspecting finished parts for defects.

Qualifications

• AWS D1.1 certification is mandatory.
• Must be able to perform own setups.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to determine fabrication specifications.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and defects.
• Clean, calibrate, and perform basic maintenance on tools and machinery.
• Weld, solder, or fasten cut components together.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate parts per drawings per job specifications.
• Perform setups for fabrication operations.
• Interpret drawings and schematics to ensure correct fabrication.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and defects.
• Clean/calibrate tools and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
• Weld, solder, or fasten components as required.
