Job summary

Aerotek in Blytheville, AR seeks a Fabricator to read blueprints and determine fabrication requirements. You will measure, mark, cut, shape, and assemble steel components, operating various fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.

The role requires 2+ years in structural or metal fabrication, ability to read drawings, and proficiency with shop tools and measuring devices. This is a contract-to-hire on-site position with a pay range of $30.00–$35.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of structural fabrication, metal fabrication, or related manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting fabrication drawings, blueprints, and shop sketches.
• Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, squares, and levels.
• Knowledge of structural steel fabrication techniques and practices.
• Ability to safely operate fabrication equipment and material-handling devices.

Responsibilities

Work Environment

Work in both indoor and outdoor environments with the ability to move throughout the plant site and production buildings. Regularly required to descend and ascend stairs, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and crawl. Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces is necessary.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blytheville, AR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
