Qualifications

• Two years' experience in welding and vehicle fabrication.
• AWS welding certifications required for work assigned.
• DoT inspection experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform layout, fabrication, fixturing and welding of truck and trailer chassis.
• Prepare and modify components as needed.
• Read and understand job order and work procedures.

Skills

Proficient in arc welding

Proficient in MIG welding

Proficient in TIG welding

Knowledge of oxy-acetylene cutting

Understanding of vehicle hydraulic systems

Education

High school diploma or GED
