Job summary

KI, a world class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments, is seeking a full-time Fabrication Technician for the Green Bay facility on the 1st shift. A $1.00/hour raise is included within the first year.

The position offers a starting rate of $19/hour and weekday hours from 6am to 2pm. The Fabrication Technician will operate metal fabrication equipment, perform quality inspections, and handle a range of hand tools and

• Operate tools in the cell such as hand held drills/screw guns, riveters, impact tools, screw drivers, wrenches and any other tools that may be required in the area.

Job Duties:

The Fabrication technician operates equipment which manufactures the metal fabricated frame for product being produced.This position is also responsible for:

• Quality inspection of the components being produced
• Operate fabrication equipment in the cell such as Robotic Welders, Hydraulic Banks, Saws, Benders, Drill Presses…
• Operate tools required in the cell such as hand held drills/screw guns, riveters, impact tools, screw drivers, wrenches and any other tools that may be required in the area.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred

Value Added Skills:

• Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience, but not required
• Team Player
• Computer knowledge
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to train on any shift
• Positive Attitude

Physical Requirements:

• Working in areas where it can get warm
• Working in a smoke free environment
• Activities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow

Shift:

• This is a 1stshift position
• Hours are 6am-2pm Monday – Friday
• Starting rate of pay is $19/hour
• Overtime during busy season
