Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is seeking an Engineering Aide in Grand Prairie, TX. The role involves soldering components on circuit cards, wiring harness fabrication, and assembling cabinets for production.

You will work closely with engineers and the fabrication team in a collaborative, team-oriented setting. The candidate should have MIL STD solder/harness certification, 3+ years in relevant fabrication, and experience reading blueprints and schematics.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years in fabrication environments incl. cable and wire harness or SMT board fabrication.
• Certification in solder and harness capability to MIL STD requirements is required.
• Experience fabricating electrical equipment from blueprints, schematics and guides.
• Able to communicate issues clearly with design and process teams.
• Experience with software tools and Microsoft products; self-starter with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Place and solder components on circuit cards and sub-assemblies.
• Fabricate wiring harnesses with pinning, de-pinning and mounting hardware.
• Build lower-level assemblies into cabinet assemblies for delivery to production areas.
• Collaborate with engineers, fabrication team, draftsmen, procurement and quality inspectors.
