Job summary

NPSG Global seeks a Fabrication Technician III to weld and assemble metal components per AWS standards in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will read blueprints, fit and weld sub-assemblies, and ensure high-quality final products that meet order requirements.

The role requires 7+ years of hands-on welding experience, ability to work 40-50+ hours per week, and proficiency with MIG, TIG and arc welding. AWS certification is preferred, and safety is a top priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 7+ years of hands-on welding experience.
• Ability to read and accurately execute fabrication designs and schematics.
• Advanced ability to read blueprints.
• Must be able to read, speak, and comprehend English.
• AWS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform consistent quality MIG, TIG, and arc welds per AWS standards.
• Fit and weld sub-assemblies with tack or spot welds.
• Deliver quality final products according to order requirements.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and work orders to ensure conformance.
• Visually inspect welds and repair nonconforming assemblies.
• Finish assemblies with buffing, grinding, painting, and packaging as needed.
• Maintain daily production logs and follow safety protocols.
• Work 40-50+ hour weeks as production demands require.
