Job summary

McCarty Equipment, a SunSource company, is a recognized distributor and fabricator of hose products with 17 locations across North America. The role assists in gasket, hose, mechanical seal, cylinder repair and conveyor belting areas, using tools to measure, cut, and fabricate gaskets and hoses.

Under close supervision you will participate in inventory counts, lean activities, safety regulations, and continuous improvement projects, plus general shop duties such as crimping, packing and shipping

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent (GED) required.
• 1 year industrial shop experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Must be able to use a tape measure and understand basic math.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gasket, hose, mechanical seal, cylinder repair and conveyor belting areas.
• Tag, stack, sort, inventory for cycle counts and keep areas organized.
• Support lean activities, safety regulations and continuous improvement projects.
