Job summary

McCarty Equipment, a SunSource company, is a highly recognized value-added distributor and fabricator of hose. With 17 locations across North America, we provide hose, valves, gaskets, fittings and tools and support for industrial and MRO needs.

Assists in any shop area including gasket, hose, and mechanical seal departments. Responsibilities include measuring, fabricating hoses, cutting gaskets, assisting with ship/receiving, and operating in a lean, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year industrial shop experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to use a tape measure and understand basic math.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gasket, hose, mechanical seal, cylinder repair and conveyor belting areas.
• Perform measurements, cut and fabricate hoses and gaskets as directed.
• Support shop duties and work under close supervision.
• Prepare and ship items; assist in inventory and lean activities.
