Job summary

Mark VII - Clean Cars® seeks a Fabrication Associate to support production across the fabrication and machine shop. You will work from prints and work orders, moving parts to downstream operations while ensuring quality.

This role requires using PEM hardware insertion equipment, deburring parts, and assisting brake press operators. You must be able to read drawings, use measuring tools, and maintain a clean, safe work area in a dynamic, multi-department environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Prior fabrication/machine shop experience preferred.
• Experience with hand and power tools and hardware insertion equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate PEM hardware insertion equipment to install hardware components in fabricated parts.
• Deburr and finish parts to meet specifications.
• Remove completed parts from laser-cut sheets and prepare for downstream operations.
• Support Brake Press operators as needed.
• Perform leak testing on welded assemblies to verify product integrity.
• Assist machine shop with tapping, countersinking, and saw operations.
• Deliver materials and completed parts to designated work areas.
• Organize and store fabricated parts on racks and inventory locations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment across multiple departments.
• Other duties as assigned
