ThermTech - Heat Treating Specialists in Waukesha, WI seeks a Fabrication Assistant to fabricate and fix fixtures, components, and parts. You will design, modify, and produce parts using drills, torches, plasma, and various machines, while collaborating with teams on improvements.

The role requires 1+ years of flux core welding/fabrication, a high school diploma, and the ability to read blueprints. Expect a safety-conscious, team-oriented environment with overtime potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years flux core welding/fabrication experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Operate fabrication department equipment safely.

Responsabilités

• Operate all equipment within the fabrication department.
• Fabricate custom made parts.
• Design custom blueprints and drawings.
• Set up and operate shear and press brake; plasma and oxy-fuel torches.
• Sharpen drill bits and tools.
• Assist departments with projects as needed.
• Maintain plant organization and cleanliness.
