Job summary

Therma-Tron-X, Inc. (TTX®) in Wisconsin seeks a versatile shop helper to support fabrication activities. You will safely move materials with cranes and forklifts, deburr, grind, clean parts, assist on machines, and manage paint system loading/unloading.

The role requires technical training or completion of TTX training, basic arithmetic, and familiarity with shop equipment, with up to 25% travel possible.

Qualifications

• possess a technical education or complete a short training period at TTX.
• able to add and subtract fractions.
• able to operate simple machines and power equipment.
• knowledge in painting, punching with power equipment, oven panel assembly and spot welding, plasma cutting, power band saw, plumbing/pipefitting, and basic electrical wiring is a plus.
• willingness to travel up to 25% annually.

Responsibilities

• Assist all positions in the fabrication shop safely and efficiently.
• Move and position material using overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Perform deburring, grinding, and part cleaning.
• Assist on machines and loading/unloading the paint system.
