LANNINGSMITH is seeking a Fabrication Technician to join our production team in Baltimore, MD. This hands-on role focuses on turning drawings and digital files into accurately fabricated components using CNC routers, 3D printers, laser cutters, and traditional tools.

You will help maintain equipment, improve systems, and support workflows while collaborating with designers and production staff to solve fabrication challenges.

LANNINGSMITH is a multidisciplinary creative studio specializing in the production of unique

objects, spaces, and experiences. We operate across design, fabrication, and logistics,

delivering complex projects with precision and care.

We're looking for a Fabrication Technician to join our production team and help expand the

technical fabrication capacity of the studio.

Role Overview:

The Fabrication Technician is a hands-on role focused on digital fabrication, machine operation

and maintenance, and technical production.

Working closely with our production team, you'll help turn drawings and digital files into

accurately fabricated physical components using CNC routers, 3D printers, laser cutters, and

traditional fabrication tools. You will also help to maintain equipment, improve systems, and

keep the shop running smoothly.

We're looking for someone who enjoys making things, solving technical problems, working

collaboratively, and moving between digital tools and hands-on fabrication. This is primarily a

production technician role - not a project-management or client-facing position.

What You'll Do:
