Job summary

Oshkosh Vocational Tennessee welcomes applicants for a fabricator role at the Murfreesboro facility. You will read job orders and blueprints, set up brake presses and lasers, and operate various machines to shape metal to spec.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required or 6+ months manufacturing experience.
• Experience reading blueprints and using measuring devices is preferred.
• Ability to operate fabrication machines and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read job orders/blueprints to determine material type and dimensions.
• Set up and operate fabrication machines (brake presses, lasers) to cut and shape metal.
• Load/unload materials and inspect finished parts for conformance.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow maintenance schedules.
• Mentor new team members and participate in shift handover.
