Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a Fabrication Associate in Groveport, OH. The role involves hands-on fabrication, assembly of customer pipe orders, and operating fabrication equipment. Schedule is Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays and potential overtime.

Starting pay is $20 per hour with a first-shift schedule and opportunities for overtime. You’ll work with a safety-focused, production-driven team in a busy industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6-8 months of recent manufacturing, fabrication, or machinery experience.
• Experience with equipment such as band saws, pipe threaders, welding machines, plasma cutting, and roll groove machines.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use gauges for quality checks.
• Forklift experience 3-6 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble customer pipe orders.
• Operate forklifts and fabrication equipment.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bevel pipe.
• Perform quality inspections using tape measures and gauges.
• Follow safety, production, and shipping procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work as part of a team to meet production goals.
