Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) is seeking a Fabrication Associate to support pipe fabrication in a non-climate controlled shop environment. You will move, assemble, and stage pipe while adhering to safety standards and quality checks.

The role requires 6–8 months of machinery experience with pipe threaders, band saws, and welding machines, plus strong mechanical aptitude and good communication. Training provided where needed, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • Must have 6–8 months of experience operating pipe fabrication machinery.
  • Ability to read tape measures and gauges for quality checks.
  • Knowledge of safe work practices in a manufacturing or pipe yard environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with cutting/ threading pipe (training provided).
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Move pipe within the shop and yard to support production flow.
  • Assemble pipe orders, including singles or bundles, keeping supplies organized.
  • Follow safety precautions during fabrication, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping of pipe components.
  • Operate powered industrial equipment per OSHA guidelines and company procedures.
  • Set up and maintain machinery used for pipe fabrication, including band saws and threading machines.

As a Fabrication Associate, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing support team, contributing to efficient pipe fabrication and ensuring safety and quality standards are met. What's the Job?

  • Move loose or bundled pipe within the shop and yard to facilitate production flow.
  • Assemble pipe orders, including single sticks or bundles, maintaining organized work supplies.
  • Follow safety precautions during fabrication, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping of pipe components.
  • Operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and company procedures.
  • Set up and maintain machinery used for pipe fabrication, including band saws and threading machines.

What's Needed?

  • 6-8 months recent experience working with machinery such as pipe threaders, band saws, and welding machines.
  • Ability to use and understand tape measures and gauges for quality checks.
  • Knowledge of safe work practices in a manufacturing or pipe yard environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with machinery for cutting and threading pipe (training provided).

  • Environment:
    Non-climate controlled, can get very hot (not air-conditioned).
