Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, Camden, SC, seeks a Technical Area Business Leader for Fabrication to drive safe, efficient manufacturing operations and continuous improvement. You will own key performance metrics, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure robust equipment and facility systems across the value stream.

You will partner with engineering, suppliers, and maintenance to resolve issues, deploy standardized work, and promote a strong safety and quality culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in maintenance, mechanical or equipment engineering.
• Experience with automated manufacturing and robotics (6-axis preferred).
• Strong problem solving, data analysis and root-cause capabilities.
• Supervisory or team-lead experience in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Oversee equipment reliability and facility systems (lighting, HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Manage cross-functional teams and coordinate with engineering and suppliers.
• Lead TPM, Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure 5S, standard work, and manufacturing control plan compliance.
